Sub group Series 3

Happy Feet has now exceeded 100 members! One of the primary tools we rely on is whatsapp messenger with a max capacity of 100 for groups. Happy Feeters don’t let anything stand in our way, technology is definitely not going to be one of them.

What this did alert us to was the need for more customized experience as the group grows and colder weather approaches.

Based on the newest need, the following groups have been established with some additional members being promoted to group leaders!

Subgroup 1: The Goal Pushers

This group is targeted for those who set very aggressive goals for themselves and aim to beat their own score each day. Members choosing this group should commit to the higher expectations from the group.

What is expected:
  1. Extensive interaction on Whatsapp and group
  2. Extensive participation in group challenges and additional subgroup challenges
  3. Participation in new short term goals and additional targets such as weight loss
  4. Stay Self motivated and group motivated
  5. Presence at most if not all weekend walks
Subgroup 2 :Pacers

This group is targeted for those who would like to pace themselves and participate in as many activities as possible without the additional drivers. Members in this group will be expected to participate in most challenges at moderate level.

A: The Fast Pacers
What is expected:
  1. Interaction on Whatsapp  group, especially prompt responses to group leader.
  2. Participation in Club level challenges
  3. Presence at most weekend walks
  4. Participation in leader led challenges within subgroup
  5. Atleast 4-5 collages submitted to group each week
B: The Medium Pacers
What is expected:
  1. Interaction on Whatsapp  group, especially prompt responses to group leader.
  2. Participation in leader led challenges within subgroup
  3. Presence at most weekend walks
  4. Atleast 2-3 collages submitted to group each week
C: The Slow Pacers
What is expected:
  1. Interaction on Whatsapp  group, especially prompt responses to group leader.
  2. Participation in leader led challenges within subgroup
  3. Presence at most weekend walks
  4. Atleast 1 collage submitted to group each week
Subgroup 3

This group is targeted for those who have been unable to commit to the walking to the degree that the rest of the club has. This is a no questions asked “group” where members can take it at their own pace.

A:Mellow Fellows
What is expected:
  1. Low interaction on Whatsapp  group
  2. Presence at  weekend walks when possible
  3. Atleast 1 collage submitted every 10 days
B:Dormant

Members who have joined club but have not been able to participate will be placed in Dormant group. We will not be posting challenges but will keep you posted of key club activities.
