Meet the Founders

Namitha Nayak & Lakshmy Ganesh

It all began with a simple walk and a powerful conversation. Namitha Nayak and Lakshmy Ganesh, friends and wellness enthusiasts, were chatting about something many of us care about—our health. Specifically, how something as accessible as walking could actually improve blood work results, reduce stress, and uplift overall wellbeing.

We were talking about how regular walking could improve all physical health and even boost mental health,” recalls Namitha. That conversation was the spark that lit the flame for what would become the Happy Feet Walkers Club—a fun, friendly space where people could walk together with purpose and positivity.

With Namitha’s passion for building supportive communities and Lakshmy’s vibrant energy and organizing skills, they co-founded a club that’s as much about friendship as it is about fitness.

President

Vimi Shukla

Vimi Shukla is an integral part of the Happy Feet Walkers Club, having been involved since its inception. Her dedication to the club is evident through her active participation and leadership. Vimi collaborates with various organizations, the city, and small businesses to promote the club’s activities and initiatives. Her efforts have significantly contributed to the club’s growth and community engagement. She inspires women to take an active part in self-care, encouraging them to prioritize their health and well-being through regular physical activity and community involvement. Additionally, she has been actively involved in organizing an annual 5K walk, further promoting fitness and community spirit. On a personal note, she is a certified yoga teacher and runs a successful business in real estate.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of organization, Vinita ensures smooth communication and meticulous record-keeping. Vinita Chandola has been involved in the club since the beginning . Treasurer

Lakshmy Ganesh

Lakshmy Ganesh serves as both the Treasurer and Co-Founder of the Happy Feet Walkers Club. In her role, she oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, fund management, and financial reporting, ensuring accountability and transparency across the organization. As a founding member, she played a pivotal role in shaping the club’s vision and operational framework. Her strategic oversight plays a vital role in sustaining the club’s activities and long-term goals.
